There was a village inhabited by the Kh’mer People since the 2nd century. It’s called Prei Norkor. In the 18th century, it was renamed Saigon and served as the capital of the French colony of Cochinchina and later of South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975. It was renamed “Ho Chi Minh city” in 1976. Your trip around Ho Chi Minh city will include the historic Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, Jade Emperor Pagoda and War Remnants Museum.
The tour features A/C car or van, English-speaking private tour guide, a bottle of mineral water and a soft lunch.
